ANGLO-SAXON CEMETERY AT WALLY CORNER, BERINSFIELD

Finds from Grave 83

String of beads (AN1989.382-4)
String of amber and glass beads, a perforated coin and a copper alloy ring (AN1989.382-4)
This grave contained a crouched inhumation of an adult woman laid on her right side. The finds from the grave included:
  • small copper alloy long brooch on the right shoulder,
  • copper alloy Romano-British disc brooch near the left hand,
  • these beads and coin laid near the small long brooch,
  • the above copper alloy ring found near the hip
  • and some fragments of copper alloy.
