wood (maple-wood?), parcel-gilt silver, enamel; carved

c. 1480 - 1510

15.5 cm height; with handle 15 cm width

Heraldry:: two shields of arms accollées; Byss Solothurn and Faujat of Lyonnais (on top)
Maker's mark: three circles (apparently) (struck on the foot mount and elsewhere)

Wooden drinking cup and cover of gourd shape. Parcel-gilt silver mount and scrolling handle. At the top a crown of fleurs-de-lis encloses an enamelled roundel with two shields of arms accollées.
