Finds from Grave 91

Small long brooch (AN1983.389)
Copper alloy small long brooch (AN1983.389) - one of a pair
This grave contained a surpine inhumation of a woman aged 20-25 years. The finds in the grave included:
  • A pair of copper alloy small long brooches (as above) found on her shoulders,
  • 17 amber and 7 glass beads together with one lead sphere found across her chest - probably strung between the brooches,
  • copper alloy pin on a ring found on the right shoulder,
  • an iron knife found on the lower torso
  • and pottery from the grave fill.
